San Francisco fireworks show

There are two sets of firework shows in SF – one set at the end of the Municipal Pier and the other in front of Pier 39. These shows are synced, which will allow the crowd to spread out so that everyone can enjoy! The show starts shortly before 9:30 and lasts around 30 minutes. Follow this link for tips on the best places to view the show:

Fremont 4th of July Parade

The year’s parade theme is “Moving Forward!” The parade begins at 10 a.m. sharp on the morning of the 4th, and starts near the Fremont Main Library on Paseo Padre Parkway. It ends at Capitol Avenue and Liberty Street.

The world’s shortest parade and Northern California’s largest Fourth of July parade

If you’re looking for interesting things to do this holiday, there are some parades around that have grabbed quite the attention from people for their size. The world’s shortest parade takes place in Aptos. Even though the parade route is short distance-wise as it’s only 0.5 miles long, it isn’t short duration-wise – it starts at 10 a.m. and ends around 2 p.m. Northern California’s largest Fourth of July parade takes place in Redwood City on Broadway, Marshall, Main, and other downtown streets from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a fireworks show closing out the day at 9:30 p.m.
